Medicare Supplement/Medi-Gap

Original Medicare does not pay all the costs for covered health services and supplies. Medicare Supplement insurance can help cover these cost gaps. Sold by private insurance companies, they can help protect you from unwanted financial exposure.

Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage (MA) Plans, also referred to as Part C, are offered by private insurance companies. Each carrier must adhere to regulations set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). There are many varieties of MA plans to fit an individual’s health care needs.

Medicare Part D

Medicare prescription drug coverage is optional to Original Medicare and available to all Medicare beneficiaries. Part D plans are offered by private insurance companies. Keep in mind, if you do not join a prescription drug plan within the first 63 days of eligibility you may be subject to a late enrollment penalty if you enroll later.

Medicare Special Needs Plans

Special needs plans are designed for Medicare-eligible individuals that meet determined criteria: DUAL (Medicare & Medicaid), certain Chronic Illnesses, and Institutionalized Plans. These plans are geared to provide services and benefits that are specific to the demographic they serve.

Dental and Vision Plans

These options are well suited to an individual whose medical insurance does not include dental or vision benefits. Private carriers offer plans that provide you protection and offset out-of-pocket expenses.
